Blocked funds
Summary: ri690140 mentions that they are new to selling on eBay with positive feedback. Despite a recent successful sale and satisfied communication with the buyer, they express frustration over a 15-day hold on their 200 euro funds. They question the fairness of this process, suspecting it might be used to generate interest, and ask if others have experienced funds being released sooner. They find the situation unreasonable as their intention is to earn income from sales.
Good afternoon, I’m new on eBay, account for a year, two sales and 3 positive feedbacks
My last sale was delivered and I received super positive feedback, the chat with the customer also went fine.
However, the amount from my sale is still blocked for another 15 days, it’s more than 200 euros, I don’t find that right. I sell my items to make some income, otherwise I wouldn’t even bother. Deal completed, everything okay, and they keep it for two weeks to earn interest on it themselves?
Has this happened to anyone, where they then unlocked it earlier?
Absurd, they provide a service and keep the commission, and that’s fine, but they have to give me MY money
