roasted like a chicken
Unfortunately I got taken for a fool, sent a new disk, rejected by the recipient because it was used. Opened a dispute that ruled in the buyer's favor. Now the buyer is also mocking me and blackmailing me, saying that if I want the item back I have to agree to his conditions!! Make a bank transfer and he'll send it without tracking...... so as I assume, on top of the damage there's also the insult of a return that will never arrive!! Opened an appeal, again in favor of the buyer, who, and this is documented, is mocking me in an arrogant way too. I don't know whether to make the bank transfer and report him, but given the size of the damage I'll say goodbye to ebay, since I feel absolutely unprotected, let alone if there were important amounts at stake!! If anyone could give an alternative piece of advice, it would be welcome. Thanks and have a good day.
P.S. the guy is in Italy, it's not certain that if I pass by there I won't wait for him under his house at least to see him face to face and tell him a thing or two

Rather than a bank transfer, send him a courier at your own expense and, if he doesn’t return the item, follow Sika’s advice with a report for misappropriation.

Mentore3 years agoGood morning,
probably the buyer opened a dispute for item not as described... why didn’t you accept it and arrange to take your disc back?
At least you would have limited the damage and gotten your disc back... since the responsibility for the item’s non-conformity is yours (even if you believe that’s not true...).
In fact, the feedback you received clearly describes your mistake... so it would be appropriate for you to arrange the return at your own expense, letting the buyer know... if he doesn’t want to return it, you can report him for misappropriation.
Best regards.
