Customer warranty not valid because the item has been used
Good morning,
I received a used smartphone with a touchscreen malfunction that was not mentioned in the listing. The malfunction is not obvious, and I only confirmed it a couple of days after it arrived. The seller obviously does not accept returns, and eBay also says the customer guarantee is not valid because the item has been used. Honestly, this seems absurd to me; does the guarantee basically only apply to cosmetic defects or items that never arrived? And where is that written in the policy?
