Two-year warranty on the new product.
If I buy a small appliance, new, in addition to the 30-day eBay warranty that the seller accepts, is the product covered by a two-year warranty?
If so, and the seller is no longer on eBay, will eBay be the one to provide the warranty for the two years?

eBay only guarantees that you regularly receive the item or that the item received is as described... this guarantee lasts 30 days from the presumed delivery date.
The 24-month legal warranty must be offered by the professional EU seller... not eBay!
If the seller is no longer present on eBay, you have to refer to their business details... it goes without saying that if you buy from private sellers or sellers outside the EU, the warranty cannot exist.
