I'm trying to contact customer service, because the seller isn't answering my question. But it seems to me that even eBay doesn't want to respond. If you look on the "My eBay" page at the bottom for the help and contact link and click it, a page opens where you can only select some preset topics:

eBay and the seller do not respond about defective items beyond 90 days, even though they are under LEGAL warranty.
The seller does not respond for a defective item that is over 90 days old. You try to contact eBay through the help and contact link, but it suggests your last purchases from the past 90 days. Considering that the item is 4 months old, it does not let you continue for items that are still under the legal 2-year warranty.

Mentore1 year agoThe legal warranty is an obligation of professional sellers with registered offices in an EU country. These sellers are directly responsible for what they sell and for the related warranty.
The eBay warranty covers only the delivery of an item that matches the listing, which is why it is valid for only 30 days and overlaps with (without ever replacing) the seller's warranty.
If the seller was professional, you will find in all their listings the contact details so you can get in touch with them directly.
