item guarantee
Hello, I bought a mobile phone with a credit card as a gift and I forgot to request the invoice before the purchase. What can I give the gift recipient now so they have the warranty in case they have problems during the two-year warranty period? I should mention that the seller is based in Italy and the product description says Italian warranty.

Mentore2 years agoThe community professional seller is in any case responsible for the legal warranty; for him, the payment receipt or the eBay transaction summary is sufficient (they prove that the phone was purchased from him and the purchase date).
The invoice would have been useful for the commercial warranty, the one provided by service centers affiliated with the manufacturer. If you didn’t ask for it at the time of purchase or within the same day, it’s too late now.

OP2 years agoHello and thanks for the reply, yes I had understood this by reading on the forum. But I wanted to understand, since there is a service center for the product near my house, if in case of problems I can turn to them only with the payment registered on the credit card or if I can't do anything and have to turn only to the eBay seller?

Mentore2 years agoYou can try, not everyone adopts the same inflexible policy.

OP2 years agoI tried asking the seller after the delivery took place earlier today and within a few minutes they sent me the invoice by email, what can I say, applause for the seller! 😉
