A radiator purchased on June 4 and received 4/5 days later and installed right away, had a coolant leak at the end of September... how long is the warranty?

Mentore1 week agoeBay’s guarantee is only that you receive the item you purchased, so it only lasts 30 days (more than enough to assess whether what was ordered matches what was received).
If you bought from a professional seller with a European legal presence, the seller’s statutory 24-month warranty still applies. In your case, though, the warranty may have expired. Since you installed or had the replacement part installed without the seller’s explicit consent, you will have to prove that the defect was present from the start and that it does not depend on the installation.
To avoid these back-and-forths of responsibility between the replacement-part supplier and the installer, the replacement part should be purchased by the professional installer, who must then take responsibility for the warranty on the part and the installation.
