It broke after a few months but I don’t have the receipt
Good morning, I bought a battery-powered Parkside grinder from a private seller on 16/02/23 and I used it twice without excessive effort, but on the third use it won’t start… it clicks and nothing happens…the private seller (I realized later…) says to contact support, but the package didn’t include the receipt, there was only an invoice/shipping document and I thought that would be fine…the seller insists that he put it inside, but I always keep everything, in fact there’s the manual, a sheet in various languages and this shipping/invoice document…how can I solve this issue? I can’t even report the seller or leave a negative feedback anymore…😡😡😡

if you bought from a private individual, how could they provide you with the receipt or invoice?
It goes without saying that purchases made from private individuals are not covered by warranty.

OP2 years agoHe’s telling me he inserted the purchase receipt…. it must be the one from his purchase and he left it for me inside, but it wasn’t there….

Mentore2 years agoIf it’s not there, you can’t claim anything, also because if a private seller sold you a new item that he bought after selling it to you, he can be classified as a scammer and it’s a selling practice not allowed on eBay... so the issue can’t be resolved, or at least, you can resolve it in two ways:
