Does Fermopoint make sense?
Hi everyone
It has already happened several times that a package was sent to a pickup point and the courier tries to deliver it during closing hours.
Now, to me, the pickup point seems designed specifically to have something delivered when I'm not home, but if, even knowing the opening hours of the pickup points, they still try to deliver it, what’s the point?
Ebay offers you this possibility but then can’t handle it?
In my opinion, it makes no sense at all.

Mentore2 years agoBut in fact it’s not eBay that manages it... seems obvious to me!
It only offers a service that is managed by third parties, so the point is just to understand whether it suits you or not... obviously the Fermopoints are not open 24 hours a day!

I’m on a platform where I buy a product, and I have the option to select the delivery location; I expect there to be some management behind it, from the people who give me the possibility of using this service.
In any case, now I know, and I also know that there are shopping platforms that I think are managed much better, from purchase to delivery to after-sales.
As for the fact that they’re not open 24 hours, I know; I read the delivery times unlike the person delivering

Mentore2 years agoMaybe the other platforms you’re referring to have their own couriers, their own hubs, and their own delivery centers, so the comparison makes no sense... eBay doesn’t have any of that and if it “recommends” a third-party service, it’s normal that it doesn’t manage it; otherwise it would be its own... at least on this point you’d agree it’s obvious?
