I bought the wrong smartphone. The product has been shipped but has not arrived yet. The return procedure has been initiated. I would like to know if I can refuse the package upon arrival, so it gets returned to the sender, and wait for the refund (deducted from shipping costs, I think), or if I have to accept it and send it back. Thanks to anyone who can help me, I can't find any information on products in transit

Mentore2 years agoIf you were the one who made the mistake when purchasing, you have to pick it up and then return it at your own expense.
Opening a return request even before receiving the product is absolutely senseless, and refusing the package would put you in the wrong without getting any refund.

OP2 years agoIn the meantime, thank you. To explain, I made the return request (it has already been accepted) precisely because I realized it was a different model from the one I wanted. The seller was not very clear, but had written to me that I could refuse the package... I started wondering whether, instead, it would be more correct the way you said

Mentore2 years agoI repeat, return requests must be opened when you receive the item, it makes NO sense to do it before!
The seller answered you in his own interest, if you refuse the package, he knows full well that you are not owed any refund!
