I need help with a dishonest seller

Item not as described (Bait & Switch): I ordered the replacement part L97635-001 (UHD Low Power technology) as listed in the catalog, but I received the L97639-001 model (UHD Standard). This is a lower-value component with different power performance.
False location (Location Misrepresentation): The seller stated that the item was located in the United States, but shipped it from Hong Kong. This is a serious violation of eBay's policies on location transparency.
Hidden costs caused by the seller: Because of the false origin, I had to pay 33€ in customs duties not mentioned in the listing. I could not inform myself properly because the stated location was false. In addition, I have already paid 75€ in shipping.
Return impossible: I do not intend to proceed with the return by May 5 because the computer is my work tool and the screen has already been set up for urgent use. Furthermore, I do not accept sending it back to Hong Kong (undisclosed location), definitively losing the 33€ in customs duties caused by the seller's bad faith.
Request: I demand a partial refund of 100€ to cover the customs duties and the difference in value between the "Low Power" panel and the standard one received.

Mentore4 months agoThe refund can only be obtained after the goods have been returned... since it’s a case of non-conformity, everything is the seller’s responsibility.
Also, even if it came from the United States, you would have paid customs anyway... you should have known that.
Anyway, this is a public forum and your "demands" are out of place.
