I bought an electric motor
I bought a 3 kW electric motor, 220 V, but there’s one thing I don’t understand! It also says: 0.5HP per compressore mec71 ,what does it mean? Why does it say 0.5 hp if the motor is 3 hp

Mentore2 years agoIt seems impossible to me that there are 3 KW (4hp) motors or 3 hp with a 14 mm shaft
The mec71 size refers to the motor shaft, which is 14 mm.
In general these motors have a maximum power of 0.5 kW (0.75 hp) for the 1450 rpm version and 0.37 kW (0.5 hp) for 2800 rpm.
