I placed an order and it still hasn't arrived, so I canceled it. I get a message that tells me
I placed an order and it still hasn’t arrived, so I canceled it. I’m getting a message telling me I have to return the package to get my money back, but the package hasn’t arrived yet.

Mentore1 year agoBuyers cannot cancel orders on eBay, they can only request it from the seller, who may accept it or not.
If eBay asks you to return it, it means that you opened a dispute for an item not as described, which was a mistake because you haven't received it yet.

Mentore1 year agoSince you can't cancel any order, you must have opened some request... for example for a return... that doesn't make any sense.
So you were wrong.
