I left negative feedback and it's not on the seller
Summary: The discussion concerns a negative feedback that *candira* left for a seller, but it doesn’t seem to be visible. *candira* and several other participants discuss the situation and possible actions to resolve it. The conversation includes various exchanges between users, but it’s not clear whether the issue has been resolved.
Purchased a used monitor: the listing didn’t say the resolution, didn’t say that the back was cracked, didn’t say that the stand was non-adjustable because it was a makeshift adapted part. In the feedback I attached photos as proof. The seller wanted to make money off an item picked up from the dump. If I sent it back he wouldn’t take it back (I believe it, it’s a piece of junk that even the computer won’t power on), and as a refund he gives €3, on a purchase of €17. He also made money on the shipping costs: he declared €9 and charged €12. I’ve already bought 5 others and they were all fine. THE FEEDBACK I LEFT ISN’T THERE, THE SELLER HAS 100% POSITIVE, WHY? At this point feedback isn’t credible, we can’t trust it anymore. I wanted to help others be careful with this seller.

Mentore1 year agoIn Italy and in Europe there are laws that regulate what can be written in a public post about other people.
If you go beyond describing what happened and give your own subjective judgments about the seller, the feedback must be removed by ebay upon the seller’s simple report.

Mentore1 year agoAbsolutely not... it’s enough to know what you can write in the feedback and what you can’t... and how to handle eBay’s procedures properly.
If the item received is not as described, the feedback is useless, it’s enough to open a return request, even if he says he won’t accept it, and everything would have been at his expense!
Have a nice day.

OP1 year agoI requested a return that the seller did not accept, but they made me a refund offer of 3 euros, which I did not accept since I spent 17, and with that everything was closed, and the seller keeps their 100% feedback; I wanted to warn other buyers, but evidently the Company is more interested in the commissions it collects from sellers

Mentore1 year agoApparently you chose the wrong reason for the return, or you requested it after 30 days... otherwise it would be impossible for them to have rejected it.
The commissions thing is just a way to hide their own responsibilities; if the procedures are followed carefully, buyers are always protected at the expense of sellers.

OP1 year agoI really don't think so, after my return request that the seller did not accept but offered me a refund of 3 euros on a purchase of 17 euros, which I did not accept, requesting at least 8 euros, to which the seller did not even reply yes or no, but I was not able to leave feedback because it was disabled. OP1 year agoI expressed myself badly: I wanted to leave negative feedback but I couldn't because I opened a return request, which the seller did not accept but instead offered me a refund of 3 euros on a purchase of 17 euros, which I did not accept, requesting at least 8 euros, to which the seller didn't even answer yes or no, but I couldn't leave the feedback because it was blocked. Regards, Sauro

Mentore1 year agoWell... now the cards on the table have changed...
Have a nice day.

OP1 year agofrom all this, what I understood is: if you're a seller and you sell something, even junk, you can refuse the return, issue a refund even of 1 euro, naturally the buyer refuses, eBay closes the return process and the buyer can't even leave feedback because eBay blocks it for you, if that's not having the upper hand in favor of the seller on eBay, tell me what is it !!!!!!
Regards Sauro
P.S.: it happened to me

Mentore1 year agoForgive me, but you didn’t understand anything...
Whatever a seller puts up for sale, they can refuse a return requested just because the buyer changed their mind... they CANNOT under any circumstances refuse a return for an item that doesn’t match the listing.
The advantage is always on the buyer’s side... of course, the buyer has to know how to use it and not use it from the non-cutting side and then complain that it doesn’t cut!
So what is it?
Simply not knowing how to use CORRECTLY the procedures that ebay has to protect buyers.
Have a nice day.
