I need to cancel an offer because other needs came up.

I contacted the seller, who has no problem with it, but who tells me I have to do it through the eBay platform.

I have NOT been able to find the right procedure.

When you can withdraw an offer

You can withdraw an offer if:

The seller has significantly changed the item description
You entered the wrong offer amount. For example, you meant to offer EUR 20 and not EUR 200. In that case, enter the price you meant to offer right after withdrawing the incorrect offer
You can’t get in touch with the seller. For example, if you sent the seller an email but get a message saying the email can’t be delivered, or if you tried calling the seller but their phone number doesn’t work

Note: these options are valid only if no more than an hour has passed since you made the offer on a listing that expires in less than 12 hours.

All other types of offers can’t be withdrawn, but you can always contact the seller and ask them if they agree to do it for you.
