I received a payment but eBay says the funds are on hold.
I received a payment for an item I listed a while ago. I hardly ever use eBay. Now eBay says the funds are blocked, but what does that mean? The money was deposited into my account. The buyer complained about the item not being shipped, and that's true, and I sent them a message. But why did I receive the money? Now I'm waiting for their response and of course I'll ship it. Then why is the item still showing as for sale? Thanks.

Mentore1 year agoOnly you can answer all your why's.
If you have any open reports against you, it's normal for eBay to block your funds.
If the item is still for sale, it's because you relisted it...
