I received the wrong return from a buyer

Good morning,
I received the return from the buyer, but the item returned does not match what I had shipped.
The item I sold was a rear wheel rim for a Malaguti F12, properly packed and shipped. However, the return package I received today contains an item different from the original one.
I therefore believe that there was an error in the return or a swap of the package contents.
I kindly ask you to verify the situation and to open a claim regarding the incorrect return received.
I can provide photos of the package received, the item inside, and the original item shipped.

The item appears not to have been shipped, but it arrived to me; I also made a video of the opening.

If they reply that they sent back what they received, you’ll understand that you’ve run into a dishonest bastard and that there’s no way out. You can try to object, but you’ll still be forced to compensate them.
In any distance sale, on any platform, photos and videos have no value at all (too easy to make them to order). In these cases, if you run into a shady and sneaky buyer, you have no chance of getting out of it.
