I shipped an item with eBay Shipping, it was damaged, Packlink refunded it | Questions and answers among users

I sent an item with eBay shipping via BRT courier; the package was damaged. I have photos and surveillance camera video from the recipient.BRT refunded the sender, who is not me, but apparently it's Packlink. Does that seem possible to you, especially when they don't even respond to old requests?
