I have a parcel ready to ship but the user wants to cancel. Who pays me the packing costs?
A user buys an item, pays for it two days ago, and today in the afternoon I’m about to pack and seal the package to take it to the post office tomorrow. At 8:30 p.m. the user asks to cancel. Can I refuse, given that I’ve already incurred the costs for the materials used to pack and seal the package, since it’s a fragile item

Mentore3 years agoSure, you can refuse... but keep in mind that one way or another he’ll send it back to you and you’ll also have to cover the return shipping costs... because the logic is that if you wrong him, he’ll do the same to you... harsh to say... with the prospect of a negative review... so think about whether it’s worth it for a few cents’ worth of packing tape.
So, since you have quite a few items for sale, you can use the packaging for another sale...
Kind regards.

Mentore3 years agoEven if it doesn't look like it, you declare that you are a private seller.
So, besides refusing the cancellation, you can also refuse a return for buyer's remorse. However, you expose yourself to bogus return requests for non-compliance.
