I have a question
Good morning everyone.
I recently sold a smartphone of recent generation, with the clause for spare parts or damaged. However, in the description I specified that, if needed, a good technician might be able to get the device working again. I ship the item, and after a day I receive the first complaint for not having received the item. I reassure the buyer to wait a few days. Naturally, in the meantime their complaint is rejected, and the item is marked as received. Then a second complaint. The item does not match the description. Through Paypal. He claims he has won, and that I must proceed with the return. Unfortunately, that is not the case for me, I have not received any return notification. He says he took the item to a repair shop and had it fixed. And he keeps going with threats of a refund for the return, even a return cash on delivery with me having to pay for the repairs, etc. Days go by, still nothing. No return notification. He keeps insisting with threats and insults. Please help me understand his supposed intentions. The platform doesn't help. I think these automated decisions only create confusion among honest people. Thanks

Mentore2 years agoIf he had it opened by a repairman and you have a message in which he states that they worked on that specific phone, he shouldn’t have any chance of being able to return it (not even with PayPal).
If and when there is a return procedure (eBay, PayPal or credit card), you will be notified, just as you were notified when the one for item not received was opened.
