I have a question regarding refunds
so, there’s this guy who bought an item from me for 80 euros without knowing that he’d have to pick it up locally and that there was no shipping, and so now he doesn’t want it anymore and asked for a refund, but he didn’t send me any payment, since he was supposed to pay me in cash when he picked it up locally, so my question is: if I issue a refund, will 80 euros be taken from my card or will nothing happen?

Mentore3 years agoHow could they have asked you for a refund if they didn’t pay? Or did they pay eBay and the money still hasn’t reached you?

Mentore3 years agoIf you haven't received any payment, you simply need to cancel the sale... you don't need to refund anyone.

Mentore3 years agoYou have to refund him, because he paid you, and you have to do it through eBay, linking a card from your account, a card that eBay can use to refund the buyer.

Mentore3 years agoBut are you sure he/she/they DIDN'T pay you?
There's an open dispute, you have to reply from the dispute... you can't cancel it anymore "simply"...
