I have a question about import taxes
I bought a tripod from a seller in the USA for €460 (+€30 shipping). The seller ships via UPS and does not accept returns. According to the tracking, import fees have to be paid for the package, amounting to about €100 (which I do not intend to pay). So I am planning to request a return. Does eBay Buyer Protection cover these situations? Will I be able to get reimbursed for at least the €460 initial cost?

Mentore1 year agoIf you don't pay import taxes, you lose money and the item, when you then receive it you can return it, if it's not as described, at the seller's expense. If instead the seller is a private individual and doesn't accept returns for change of mind, you keep it.
