When you deliver the goods, you’ll scan the code. Scanning it is equivalent to a delivery receipt.

OP2 years agohi Mario, we met and I handed him his rods, so in person, without package and without codes, he had paid me through ebay. I wasn’t able to find the code, he didn’t give it to me, because it doesn’t exist, what do I write if a code doesn’t exist? Sorry, but what am I supposed to scan if it doesn’t exist? He also, whom I then phoned, after the exchange of positive feedback, doesn’t know where it is, or what it is, or where the code that eBay is asking me to confirm is located (with the boxes to fill in with numbers from the code). Sorry, I still don’t understand and neither does he, thanks

Mentore2 years agoIf the sale took place through eBay and the listing also specified local pickup, the buyer must have received by email (sender: eBay) the code for you to scan/enter at the time of the in-person exchange.

He must have received the code, and without it you shouldn’t have given him the item.

If now he tells you that he didn’t receive the items, you’ll be forced to refund him.
