HR Parcel impossible to contact

Hi everyone, I’ve already read around that this courier is a potential scammer. I bought an item from France on November 27, shipped by the seller with Mondial Relay. The tracking showed that Mondial Relay handed the parcel over to Hermes.de in Huckelhoven on December 3, and from there the information initially disappeared - in fact on Hermes’ website the parcel still shows as being held in Germany. I found out on my own that the parcel was delivered to HR Parcel at their hub in the outskirts of Milan, and I was able to recover the other shipping stages on HR Parcel’s website. The parcel arrived at the Rome branch on December 6 and was “delivered” on December 12. In quotes because when the courier came, unfortunately I was at my daughter’s end-of-year performance, I had my phone on silent mode and I didn’t notice the Amazon Ring notification until the performance was over. The bastards had marked it as “parcel delivered to recipient”. At that point I started calling their phone numbers, where nobody answers (toll-free number) or a recorded voice answers telling you to go to the website and fill out the information request form (number for calls from mobile networks). I sent the first complaint as soon as I got home and in the evening they changed the parcel tracking to “recipient absent on first attempt”. I wrote three more complaints using the usual form on their website and chatted for who knows how long with their bot Lory, only to get no other information except that I can’t go and pick up the parcel, that I’m not allowed to know if and when they will make a second delivery attempt, and that in any case I can at most ask the sender for more information about the shipment. In all this, they told Mondial Relay that I had received the parcel. I contacted the seller to explain what had happened and he replied by calling me dishonest, as if I were trying to skim off the shipping costs. Ebay doesn’t give a damn. I opened a dispute that ended with nothing because Ebay accepted the seller’s version, who contacted Mondial Relay, which could only reply “the parcel was received by the gentleman, word of HR Parcel”. Tomorrow I’m going to Fiano Romano, which is the only information I found online that provides a physical address for this supposedly Roman branch of HR Parcel (by the way, Google Maps also provides a mobile number that, guess what, doesn’t exist). I’ll give it a try, but I fear that in Fiano Romano I’ll find the tumbleweeds from western movies. This morning I stopped by the police to file a report for theft/embezzlement and they told me it’s better if I write the text at home and then we review it together before formalizing it. I also contacted AGCOM, they sent me information and said that 45 days have to pass from the first complaint before bringing in the guarantor authority. I don’t know what to do now, maybe one of you knows where the HR Parcel branch is actually located. On top of the damage, there’s the insult, and another injury too because the item in question was part of a PC I’m assembling for my godson for Christmas, and obviously the Christmas gift is off.
