The total seen by the buyer is not what I specified
I sold an item, but the buyer, after purchasing it, sees a different price from what I specified.
It’s as if VAT had been added.
But I’m a private seller, I have a private account.
How is that possible?
I also buy regularly and it has never happened to me to see a different price after making the purchase.

OP2 years agoI have cap 21050 and the buyer is Italian!!!

Mentore2 years agoUnfortunately, not all the areas covered by zip code 21050 are part of the EU customs zone.
Some sites, including eBay, use the zip code to identify these places and then don’t make fine distinctions; they consider all of zip code 21050 as an extra-customs free zone and add VAT.
At the moment, it seems that there is no solution for this bug.

Or is the buyer from outside the EU?
