The seller claims to ship from a country in the European Community, but that is not true.
I only buy within the European Community so I don't have to pay customs duty; in this case, shipping from Austria.
I can see that the price is made up of a figure plus VAT, but I don't pay any attention to it.
However, from the package code I can see that it was shipped from Ukraine and is now stuck in customs, exactly what I wanted to avoid.
A registered letter will definitely arrive (in a month) requesting the invoice for the application of charges.
How should I deal with the sneaky seller?

Mentore2 years agoCheck the listing carefully. If it was really supposed to come from an EU country and instead they’re asking you to pay customs fees, you can refuse to pick up the package and request a refund according to the terms of eBay’s customer guarantee.
