Unable to start the return on eBay after a PayPal dispute
Good evening everyone,
I’d need some advice on a situation I’m running into.
I bought an item on eBay and, since it didn’t match the description, I opened a dispute through PayPal. PayPal признied me the right to a refund upon return of the item.
The problem is that, since the dispute is already open on PayPal, eBay won’t let me start the return process. When I try to do it, this message appears:
“At the moment we can’t process the request. You can’t submit this request. You have already submitted a dispute for this order to the institution you used to make the payment.”
How should I handle this situation? Is it normal for the eBay return to be blocked when a PayPal dispute is open? Is there an alternative procedure to make the return, or do I have to follow PayPal’s instructions only?
