Since I bought an item by mistake and the seller isn't responding, I'd like to ask to close the return, how do I do it thanks

I think you meant to write ask and not close the return.

If you bought by mistake, did you also pay by mistake????
If the seller does not respond to your cancellation requests (it is their right), wait at least until you receive the item.

If you close the return, you put yourself in his hands. Then eBay will have no way to help you and the seller can quite happily keep not replying to you.
