Hello everyone, this is the first time I’ve written on the forum, I wanted to ask you for some info regarding the gpsr on ebay.
We deal in used auto parts; is it possible to put a single name for all listings? The eBay operator told me I can personally put myself as the contact person for any brand, but this sounds very strange to me, do you have any advice on this? According to the operator, I could be the representative for any brand AUDI VW BMW etc. Obviously I’m cautious if I don’t have any concrete feedback.

I think that for original spare parts with a unique code, nothing needs to be done. For those put on the market before 13/12 the exemption of art 51 applies (approval as original part or CE marking for equivalent spare parts), for those after that date the manufacturer will certify compliance with the European directive and the data should only be available by using the EAN codes, etc...
Since the directive applies to any sales channel (physical auto parts stores or online), try contacting a trade association (confcommercio, confesercenti, adira, ....)
