Information returned
I bought a refurbished phone yesterday and today I received a message saying that I had to pay an additional 143.19 euros in customs duty, this had not been specified at the time of purchase; in fact, I was only charged about 30 euros for shipping and now I would like to make a return

Mentore3 years agoIf you bought it from a seller outside the EU, you should have known it, or rather been aware of it... because that’s information you won’t find written in the listing.
You can’t return an item you haven’t received yet... so first it has to be in your hands, which means paying customs... and remember that this amount, in the event of a return, will not be refunded in any way... also, a return because you changed your mind is entirely at your expense.
Also remember that if you think about voluntarily refusing delivery... to avoid paying customs... you won’t be able to claim any refund, and the eBay Customer Guarantee will no longer apply... so think carefully.
Kind regards.
