INFORMATION
I received a parcel from the United Kingdom, where the sender declared that they had paid the taxes for 'importation ad Ebay, (written on the package label), nevertheless the Post Office made me pay €21.17 in customs charges and €5 in postal fees, total €26.17.

Mentore3 years agoBut the seller can’t pay the import taxes to eBay... eBay doesn’t ship anything nor is it customs... at most you paid VAT!
If you didn’t use GSP (Global Shipping program), it’s more than normal to pay the customs and carrier charges to the delivery person.
Unless the document issued by the mail carrier says that you paid VAT again, you can ask eBay for a refund:
