if I put an item up for auction with a buy-it-now offer and receive one or more bids, can users still make purchase offers?

If you've received offers, you're already above the auction starting price. Bids are made for amounts lower than the auction starting price.

OP3 years agoI'm sorry, but they can offer amounts much higher than the starting price, you're right; usually it's put there by sellers who fear not selling at the starting amount, the point is that I, as a user, want an item that already has bids and I try to offer the maximum amount with a bid, not with an offer that I know other buyers would beat! I just wanted to know whether, if there is an ongoing bid, it is possible to make offers. In any case, thank you for the reply. bye.

Mentore3 years agoAnyway, no, the button disappears at the first offer.
....If you receive an offer, the current offers and counteroffers will be automatically rejected and buyers will not be able to make additional offers for your item.....
