I made the purchase yesterday of used car parts from an Italian seller after making a lower offer and accepting the seller's counteroffer.At the time of payment I saw the agreed amount increased by 22% VAT.I spoke with eBay customer support and the lady, all annoyed, told me that VAT has to be paid, without actually addressing the fact that the items are used.The only useful indication she gave is that I can tell if VAT is not included in the price shown in the listing at the time of payment.The seller can't give me any explanation.Can you confirm that for sales of used items Italy to Italy VAT does not apply?If the seller mistakenly listed the items as new and as VAT excluded, is there a way to get a refund from eBay?
