VAT and customs duties on a product purchased in Japan
I would like to buy an item from a seller in Japan. The seller invites the buyer to find out about import costs so there are no surprises.
Is the message "VAT added to prices based on the delivery address. No additional customs charges are expected" that appears before I complete the payment reliable? Will I actually not pay anything extra?

Mentore9 months agoThere are no customs fees expected at the time of payment... but upon delivery it will all depend on who handles the delivery in Italy... so it is absolutely not certain that you won't have to pay anything.
