On 01.09.2022 I bought a 12v 10hp rechargeable lead battery. However, at the beginning of this year the battery no longer worked. I WROTE TO THE SELLER: Hello, the battery has suddenly stopped working. Since, I believe, it is still under warranty, as two years have not yet passed since the purchase, I wanted to know how I can have it replaced. I am attaching four photos: one from when I bought it, one of the UPS showing that it is not working, and the other two of the battery. THE SELLER REPLIED: dear customer, the warranty is valid for 24 months for manufacturing defects. after the first 6 months from purchase, it is the customer's responsibility to certify with a sworn expert report that the product has a manufacturing defect and not a failure caused by an external cause. I WROTE TO THE SELLER AGAIN: Hello, let me make you a proposal, so to speak, as a settlement: I buy a battery, again 10Ah, identical in every way to the 10Ah one that failed and that is shown in the photos I sent you in the first email. At the same time, together, you send me another battery, also identical, 10Ah, as a replacement for the faulty one (I have an old 7Ah one to replace), so at least you do not have the shipping costs for the 10 Ah battery as a replacement. If you want, I can hand the faulty one to the courier myself, so that it can be returned to you; otherwise I will take it to the CRC for disposal. I will wait a few days for your reply. Then, unfortunately, I will have to take different steps to enforce my consumer rights.
