Is overseas shipping included, or do you need to add it manually via international shipping?
I'm about to sell some books, but I still haven't figured out whether, by setting "posta raccomandata standard," buyers from other countries (e.g. France, Germany, Spain) can purchase... are they already enabled, or do I need to add international shipping myself? What is international shipping for? thanks.
You must first select the countries to which you intend to ship.
Ordinary printed matter shipping travels at your sole risk; if someone claims not to have received anything (whether that is true or not), you will be forced to reimburse them (by law).
How to add international shipping to listings
To add international shipping to your listings, select the countries you want to ship to and enter the international shipping service and costs. Here's how:
Simplified selling form
On the listing creation page, scroll to the Shipping method section.
Choose Automatic shipping method or Personal shipping method.
Select Create your international shipping option.
In the shipping options drop-down menu, you have two choices:
Charge actual cost: shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the buyer's ZIP code and the package's weight and dimensions
Charge a fixed cost: all buyers will be charged the same amount for shipping, regardless of their country. Enter the amount next to the Cost field
Choose the countries you ship to in Destination and select the carrier of your choice in Service.
In International shipping, select Fixed: same rate for all buyers.
Then specify the item shipping locations (select Worldwide or Choose a custom location), the Services, the Cost and the Additional delivery locations (optional).
If you want to exclude international buyers who live in certain countries, select Create exclusion list.

OP2 years agoof course I read it before writing this post, but it still wasn’t/ isn’t clear.
If right now I only set up a "book shipment", is a French or Spanish buyer NOT able to buy?
So do I need to add "international shipping"?
and if I wanted to let people choose between regular and registered book shipment, how can I do that?
all these things still aren’t clear to me. thanks.
