Hello,
I sold an item and the buyer chose an eBay pickup point; I duly shipped it with eBay Shipping on 16-12-24 to the pickup point.
On 21-12-24 they sent me a claim because the buyer did not recognize the transaction, what does that mean? how is it not recognized if they paid for the order? do you know what it means? it has never happened to me.
So I immediately went to check the tracking and found that the shipment has been in transit at the same place since 18-12-24 with no movement, could that be the reason since delivery was scheduled for 21-12-24.
After that I immediately sent a reminder to eBay Shipping asking why it has been stuck for days, unfortunately still no response.
For the moment I have not yet replied to the claim because I was trying to contact the buyer several times to solve the problem, but unfortunately they never replied to me.
Now, even today, the item still shows as in transit at the same place.
Now it says that my funds are blocked and I can't transfer them to my bank until the claim is resolved, do you know how I should defend myself since the buyer isn't responding? do you think they scammed me and lost the item? is there any way to recover the item? or to unblock the funds since I shipped the item and it doesn't seem to me that I made any mistake or that it's my fault?

Mentore1 year agoThe buyer says that someone used their credit card unlawfully.
If, based on this report, the bank reverses the transaction, you will never receive the payment. Try to see if it’s possible to stop the package.

OP1 year agoHe was replying before, now that he’s opened this dispute he’s not replying anymore, do you think this guy probably stole a card and bought the item for me? And did the card owner file a report to get the money back? And is that why I got this dispute?
But if I can’t manage to block the package or have it sent back and it gets delivered, will I be protected in some way by eBay or will I be left without money and item?
