Hello, this is the first time it has happened to me that a user makes a purchase and then tells me they want to return the item because it is damaged. It’s a TV mainboard that the customer says arrived damaged, but they also say that the packaging was intact and showed no damage. To be honest, from the photos I received from the buyer, the damage to the board is really there, but the damaged part is different from the photo I posted in the eBay sales listing, where the board could be seen intact. I have the impression that the buyer damaged it, either accidentally or through carelessness, and since it cost €105 now wants to get the money back. I have 310 feedback and none negative, and all the customers who bought from me have always been super satisfied (just look at the feedback). I already know what really happened to that board, but it is not easy to prove it. The fact that the damaged part has differences compared to the one in the photo of the listing is, in my opinion, a clue, but I am waiting for it to arrive so I can examine it. Now I’m left with €105 to refund and a damaged board when before it wasn’t. What do you suggest I do and how should I behave? Thanks.
