account limitation
Hi, I’m new here on support, so I hope I don’t make any mistakes. I wanted to know whether it’s possible to request a review of the account limitation made by Ebay, which seems incredible to me. I’ve been registered since 2000 and only started selling a few months ago, reaching high volumes (up to €15,000 a month) and thus moving from “private seller” to “Ebay store”. Last month I got a huge limitation, going from 450 to 45 items, and I can’t list or edit anything. The reason is that over the course of 12 months, in 8 cases out of 165 I didn’t cancel the item sold in the store and so the user won it and I immediately refunded them because I no longer had it available in the store. This results in a 4.88% error on Performance, where they consider a maximum of 2%. I have no problems with disputes and returns. I wonder how you can lose all this money for no real reason. This kind of problem doesn’t really affect any of the parties “involved”; I remain a seller for 23 years with 100% positive feedback. A huge financial loss for me (and for them) as well. Do you know whether there’s any way to intervene somehow besides the usual support?

Mentore3 years agoUnfortunately no, the percentage you're referring to is the "famous" performance... if it goes well below what eBay expects... eBay itself limits you, with the reason of protecting the community.
To improve performance, you need more sales or for the amount of time considered adequate by eBay to pass... if in the quarter you have more than 400 transactions, 3 months may be enough; if the transactions are fewer, it will take at least a year.

today I realized I no longer have a single item for sale.....after 23 years I think I'm giving up. They've worn me out....this isn't a partnership....it's a dictatorship. But I had created a real store ....I had gotten up to making as much as €15,000 a month...and it's not like they let you work for free, 8.5% and out + 1.6%. They were making almost more than I was..... Now they've also canceled the 50 listings.... Goodbye Ebay....
