restriction on shipping to a foreign country, denied by the seller but exists
Summary: The participant tee_breda opens a discussion about a limitation in shipping to a foreign country, which the seller denies but seems to exist. sika700 responds, but both messages lack descriptive content, so the issue remains unclear.
I tried to buy an item to be shipped to Italy from Germany; at checkout, the message appeared that "the seller may not ship to Italy"; I wrote several times, also having to get around some absurd automatic blocks in the messaging system that kept telling me I was violating Ebay rules, which is completely false; anyway, with extreme persistence I managed to write to the seller several times, and he always replied that he normally sells in Italy; I sent him the screenshots showing that there is a shipping block to Italy, but the seller says he "doesn't know how to help me"; Ebay has no direct reply service and is completely absent. Can anyone tell me what the truth is and how to wake up the people at Ebay? See photo

Mentore1 year agoYou don't have to "wake up the gentlemen at Ebay" but you do have to wake up the seller... if they don't clearly set the shipping costs for Italy, you'll never be able to buy.
So it's not enough to say they ship to Italy too, they also have to set the cost.
Kind regards.
