good evening, it won't let me list more items for sale, I get a message saying that my account may have selling limits. what do I do?

unfortunately for new sellers eBay sets both quantity and monetary limits...
To find out what they are, go here:
Overview - eBay Seller Console
and look for the "Monthly limits" box, and remember that they will be reset every month, but if you have non-expiring listings they will never be updated, because at each renewal the limit will be updated automatically.
So, the solution to be able to list more items is to have low prices, in any case always within the limits.
When you have more experience, eBay will raise them.
