Sales limits
I’m a private seller. For a few months now I’ve discovered a product that I’m able to resell on eBay with a very small profit margin... What is the monthly or annual limit not to exceed in order not to incur penalties and not have to open a VAT number?

OP1 year agoSorry, just to clarify one thing... I don't buy and resell online... These products happened to come into my possession, and I'm now selling them transparently, and when they run out I won't be able to buy them again, so this isn't online business... Since I have a lot of them and don't know what to do with them, I'm reselling them. How many can I sell without running into penalties and reach the allowed limit without opening a VAT number? (Since I won't be starting an online business. It's a sale of the excess things I have, with no further purpose)

Mentore1 year agoAll the more so since you sell new items, but private sellers cannot describe the products they sell as new; at most “like new,” and that is not at all the same thing.

Mentore1 year agoIf you buy and sell to make a profit, there are no limits, you’re already an unauthorized seller.
You should already have opened a VAT number before starting the activity.

Mentore1 year agoNone, even to be a reseller you would need a VAT number. So if you don't want to take risks, it's better to close the business here.
