Hi,
I registered on ebay.it but, living in Switzerland, I had to give a Swiss phone number. Now I receive all the emails in German.... But does ebay know that there are 4 official languages in Switzerland? How can I make sure I receive communications in Italian?

Mentore1 year agoIt had already been discussed a few years ago ....
Unfortunately the Swiss site is designed as monolingual and is based on the assumption that all Swiss people know at least German.
There are several discussions on various sites that you can see via google. At the moment there's nothing to be done.

I don't think it's due to the phone number, but to the registration address.
So if you live in a canton where the predominant language is German... but you are Italian... how is eBay supposed to know?
