list of items sold on eBay
Good evening, it would be very useful for determining the price of items to be able to know all the sold prices on E-bay. But if in a certain search you choose to see only sold items, I have seen that only items sold in the last few months are shown, but not earlier ones (at least a few years back). For searches on rare items, it is rather difficult to find a number of significant sales in such a short period of time. As far as you know, is it not possible to have lists of sold items from previous years? If this has not been done, is it not possible to suggest to E-bay to make such a database, so important for valuations?

Mentore3 years agoFor certain types of items, there are specialized sites that do this.
For example, for photography gear, here you can find transactions going back several years: https://collectiblend.com/Cameras/

OP3 years agoYes, I am interested in the pricing of books and comics, where prices and rarity vary a lot. There are external sites that do this (marelibrorum for example), but they only have sales from bookstores that have joined maremagnum (many anyway) and sales going back over 20 years. Very useful for antique books, where sales are few even with a long history. It would be nice (and simple) to create a database like that on e-bay too, and it could be a good source of income for e-bay itself by charging a small fee for use. Couldn’t this be suggested to E-bay? Does anyone have any idea how and whom to contact?
