eBay charged me the costs of a transaction that never took place despite all my reports of the problem, since I received a purchase offer for a road bike that I mistakenly marked as "PAID" and I reported this several times to eBay customer service because I didn't want to be charged a commission of 32.91 euros that isn't due, since the transaction never took place and the buyer apologized for not cancelling the transaction himself right away. For what reason did eBay customer service reassure me that there would be no charge and then instead charge me the cost of the listing that never took place? thanks
