Non-payment by Ebay following an interview
Summary: morstag0 shared an experience in which they took part in a market research study for eBay, with the promise of receiving a $150 Visa card as compensation. After completing the study on September 22, they still have not received payment. They contacted the outside company that ran the study, which says eBay should handle the payment. morstag0 is asking whether anyone else has had a similar experience or has any useful contacts to help resolve the situation.
Hi everyone, I wanted to know if this same thing had happened to anyone. About a month ago I received an email from the official email address of the Ebay research team, inviting me to fill out a questionnaire to see whether I was eligible to take part in a market research study with compensation of a Visa card worth $150 issued in local currency. I did everything, I was selected, and on September 22 I took part in this study. I also contacted several times the external company that carried out this study, but they say that eBay is the one that has to pay me. Too bad that nothing has still arrived for me and there isn’t a toll-free number I can call. Is there anyone else who took part in this research or knows anything about it here? Or do you have any contact I could call? Thanks in advance, have a nice day.
EDIT: I figured it out, the payment had arrived by email, but I couldn’t find it because it had come through a strange email that ended up in the “promotions” section. Anyway, I contacted the eBay research team and they replied very quickly, giving me the email I needed to look for and allowing me to find it in that section.
