Returned goods due to a product received by mistake... the seller isn't responding... and now what??

I purchased an item on 01/11/2024, the goods were received in a reasonable time, but unfortunately I was sent something completely different, the same type of item, but with completely different measurements.
I contacted the seller through eBay, explaining the situation, and he confirmed that there were no problems and that I should return the item with shipping arranged by him.
Goods returned without problems, but after more than a month, despite numerous reminders, the seller has not gotten back to me anymore, neither with a replacement offer nor with a refund offer.
Is there anything I can do besides keep writing to the seller, or do I just have to make peace with it and accept that I'm out of pocket??

Mentore1 year agoYou waited too long; if you had opened the return procedure correctly on eBay, it would have been enough to follow it carefully all the way through to getting the refund.
Now, well... I'm afraid you'll have to take it on the chin...

I chose to trust the pro seller because of the reviews and number of sales and ... oh well
I wish him short arms
