They disputed an item I sold me, how can I avoid scams with returns?
I had a dispute raised against an item I sold and a return was requested. In case they’re trying to scam me and don’t return what I sold, or only return part of it, what could I do?

OP1 year agoWhat a scam. I hope this is honest or at least doesn’t pull any tricks.
I often use eBay to give new life to things I don’t use, and selling them is more hassle than profit, but at this point, if this is the risk, I’ll start throwing stuff away instead of selling it

Mentore1 year agoThe majority of buyers are honest, but if you run into a shrewd and not-so-honest user, in a distance sale, you’re out of luck. You’ll never have a way to prove that what gets returned to you isn’t exactly what you sent, even if it were a stone.
So there’s no point in coming up with complicated strategies, provide the return label and refund them.
