Good morning everyone - I bought a used engine from a Vespa 200gt, which was supposed to have 1800 km on it and instead it has more than 35,000, with a blown head gasket and water pump. This has led to a repair that cost over 350 euros; the engine owner is giving me a refund of 100 euros after I complained about the water pump, and at the time of delivery I was told there was an additional issue: the blown head gasket had to be replaced and that the cooling fan does not activate for reasons still unclear. I have suffered damages of over 750 euros and still have a Vespa that isn't working and needs repair. In your opinion, what should I do and who is at fault? The seller or the mechanic? Why should I have to hire a lawyer and seek compensation!
