Negative eBay management
For some years now, eBay has been in decline when it comes to protecting consumers’ rights: it’s a battle to manage to call, to chat, and on top of that there’s the unknown fate of the points accumulated and liquidated by eBay with the phrase: pending! The complaint, as long as the validity period still applies, requires knowing the reason for this abuse! Honestly, it must be said that Amazon is excellent from every point of view… personal availability to solve any problem, replacements. Refunds, flexibility and courtesy..!!!! It’s been days and you can’t get in touch with anyone at eBay 😡🤮😡🤮😡🤮😡

OP2 years agoThanks for your attention, but in the beginning it was eBay’s customer-catching courtesy; competition teaches you: whoever polishes first… sees the gold..! Metaphorically, I mean that if Amazon has become a giant, it means it’s able to keep customers now in the millions and millions worldwide… contacting eBay is truly a gigantic undertaking, and you always find out they answer from Albania, and my gitan a are rookies… as a professional, Amazon is top-notch in every field… years ago I used to buy often, every time hundreds of € for me and my family, and the courtesy was there…! eBay, if it weren’t for PayPal, is nothing….🙏🏻 And now an employee from Albania, with so many commitments, couldn’t understand what I was explaining: 65 points because I’m suspended..? And then, get this, he replies: no, now it’s 101 (and yes, yesterday too, another €100 order..) the 65 points were for a previous order dating back to 1/11/23 and he didn’t understand a thing….(he admits there was a problem, and said that: I should have called eBay yesterday to fix it..😳, I replied that eBay just wants to make money..😄 it should have already automatically entered the equivalent amount in euros at the time of payment..! I thanked him and hung up..! Shameful business policy ..soon we’ll do without eBay and around it.. 🍀

Mentore2 years agoThe points offered by eBay are certainly not a "right" but just a promotion they "choose" to do and are not obliged to do!
If you don’t like how eBay manages ITS marketplace, no one is stopping you from buying from Amazon; in fact, if you want to do a favor to the whole community:
https://www.ebay.it/help/account/changing-account-settings/chiudere-laccount?id=4199&st=3&pos=2&query=Chiudere%20l%27account&intent=chiudi&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1078
Anyway, if you contact support the right way, it’s super easy and they get back to you almost right away... give it a try, it’s simple!
Best regards.

Mentore2 years agoBut you need to be clear about one thing: if you compare eBay to Amazon, you're making a huge mistake!
First of all, eBay doesn't sell anything. Amazon has its own warehouses distributed throughout the whole national territory, so it's not just a marketplace but a real e-commerce business and as such it can manage orders, items, and customers completely independently.
But be careful with what now seems like gold... because the catch is just around the corner... and remember that eBay and PayPal are now two different worlds and if you don't know your way around well, PayPal can be a real obstacle, so it's a good idea to stay up to date and leave the old "glories" where they were.
Best regards.

OP2 years agoThe old greats where they were must stay but not with the glories of back then..everything begins..then it depends on the evolutionary circumstances, that is, to stay firmly on the market these days you need high ambitions to keep up with the times..Amazon hit the nail on the head, while eBay keeps getting it wrong…wherever I go in the world I buy from Amazon as if I were in Italy..eBay is in the Middle Ages not to mention the staff who need to be trained completely from A to Z! Passion is understandable, but loyalty to keep customers firmly with you needs something else altogether !!! Do you think the debate that started because of the last straw in a vat full of eBay disservices is over here: 65 points for 2 months are listed as suspended, and when asked why, an Albanian employee replies: today they are 101 😂😂😂..! But why the suspension..? It’ll be 40 cents to deduct from yesterday’s €200 purchase 😱😃😁😛
